Family and Support System Meeting

The Texas Civil Commitment Office is hosting a Family & Support System Meeting for Family/Support System Members of Clients in Tiers 1-5. Information regarding the Texas Civil Commitment Center and the treatment program will be presented.

Individuals wishing to attend must RSVP by September 9, 2024, via email or mail. Email RSVPs can be sent to: FamilySupportMeeting@tcco.texas.gov. RSVPs via mail can be sent to the TCCO Office. The RSVP must include the following information:

1. Name of everyone who will be attending;
2. Name of the client;
3. Relationship to the client;
4. Email address or mailing address; and
5. Phone number.

Space is limited. Attendees must have a reservation to attend. Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis. Please note the following:

• Individual clients cannot be discussed, and presenters will not be able to answer questions related to specific clients.
• All attendees must be at least 18 years of age.
• All attendees shall remain respectful to others throughout the meeting.

The Texas Civil Commitment Office is a small state agency tasked with the huge responsibility of providing intensive supervision and treatment to sexually violent predators. TCCO recognizes that the civil commitment of sexually violent predators to long-term, comprehensive, and offense-specific supervision and treatment is necessary for the protection of the citizens of the State of Texas. TCCO's administration is focused on the agency's equally important responsibilities for public safety, supervision, and treatment.

The TCCO's mission is to enhance public safety by developing and implementing strategic management policies to protect the citizens of Texas and enhance protection of victims and potential victims through research-based management of civilly committed sexually violent predators.
